Here is the thing that REALLY confuses me.

LOVE.

It is like, a curse, well I can't be that harsh on it, it has been good to me before, but I find it so desperately hard to understand why we chase it. Or why people chase it.

I mean, for some lucky people they get their one true love and everything is dandy for the rest of their lives, and I respect those people.
What I don't understand though, is how people can carry on doing it.
I mean, people get hurt, get back up again, brush themselves off and start again.

But it can also be good sometimes I guess, so I can't knock it off, I just don't like it myself.
I guess the real reason I can't seem to understand it.
Is because it hurt me too much and changed me.

But I guess you live, you learn, and you attempt to mould yourself around what happens.

It's just, myself, I can't accept the past, probably never will.
I just carry on smiling and forget about relationships.
They fuck you up big time.

Or they did me. But, if you find your one true love. I am happy for you.
Just don't make the mistake of trying love too young. It can really mess you up.

I had to get this out of my system.

exactly. I think people get too attached to people very easily when they are "in love" and only in highschool. i mean, highschool is just the beginning of the rest of their entire life! So yea, young love can be great, but it can also be devastating, when the other falls out of it.
